Tree surgery and landscaping in the New Forest
Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, Lymington, Sway: proper tree country.
The Forest is the most heavily protected ground we work on. Much of it is a national park with conservation designations layered on top, and properties in and around the villages often carry tree protections of their own. The rule we work to is simple: check the status of the tree and the land before quoting, and get the consents right before a saw starts.
It is also genuinely big-tree country. Veteran oaks, beech and sweet chestnut stand close to houses in Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst, and the sensible work is planned management (reductions, deadwooding, keeping weight off limbs over roofs and lanes) rather than emergency calls after a southwesterly has been through.
Down towards Lymington and Sway the coastal edge adds the same wind considerations as the rest of the Solent shore, and paddock and boundary fencing joins the garden work. It is a longer run from Southampton than our home patch, and we cover it as a matter of course rather than as an exception.
